Real Madrid goal scoring machine Cristiano Ronaldo is at the centre of a magical showdown, with one sorcerer reportedly trying to end his career and another trying to save it.
According to reports, a “rich foreign woman” – who many believe is one of Ron’s scorned flings – paid a Spanish sorcerer named Pepe to end Ron’s stellar career. Pepe, photographed holding a voodoo doll with Ron’s name scrawled across it, refused to name the woman, who reportedly paid him 15,000 Euro to put a curse on the player.
"She paid me to end Cristiano Ronaldo's career and I'm doing that," Pepe tells AFP. "It's a job, I have nothing against him personally, but I'll see it through.”
But, just as Ron's career seems doomed, another sorcerer by the name of Fernando Nogueira – better known as sorcerer Fafe – has been employed by someone close to the 24-year-old to protect him.

Sorcerer Fafe, in defense of Ron, apparently doubts the powers of his rival and mentions that he had “burnt candles next to a photo of Ronaldo to put an end to what’s being done, if it is true.”
In the mean time, Ron is preparing for his World Cup qualifier match against Hungary this weekend. He’s also shaking off an ankle injury and is expected to undergo some tests this week to ensure his eligibility to play.
